Walleye: Jigs (any colors, try to find a mixture of dark and light shades depending upon the weather, size 1/4 oz., 3/8 oz. and 1/2 oz. depending upon the wind during the day); twister tails (color white, size 3 and 4 inch) Buy at least 100 twister tails. You will use these for walleyes as well as for putting “trailers” on some of the pike lures.

Catch and Release Policy & Barb-less Tackle: North Star Executive Outpost operates on a high management lake. We feel it is extremely important that our guests follow our catch and release policy. This has the documented effect of increasing daily catches and increasing sizes of individual fish. As well, walleye sizes for shore lunch are limited to 17” and under. All tackle used on our lakes must be barbless. Please help us promote fish growth and protect our valuable resource for future generations to come. All pike must be released.
