- Cost doesn’t include gratuities. Gratuity suggestion is 15% of your trip cost per person to cover fishing guide, cooks, servers and housekeepers.
Payments
All prices are in US dollars and all taxes, possible fuel surcharges,
possible baggage charges and cost of fishing license will apply.
Acceptable Forms of Payments:
We prefer all payments to be made by credit card or electronic bank transfer.
Non-Refundable Deposits
A $1000 deposit is due within 10 days of booking. A reservation
is not considered firm until a deposit is received at the office of
North Star Resort. All deposits are non-refundable
and non-transferable.
Final Payment
All final payments are due 90 days prior to your arrival at North
Star Resort.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made more than 90 days prior to the first day of the trip will result in loss of deposits. All other monies paid will be a credit to be used the following season. No monies will be refunded.
Cancellations made more than 60 days but less than 90 days prior to the first day of the trip will result in the loss of deposits plus a $1,500 per person cancellation fee. All other monies paid will be a credit to be used the following season. No monies will be refunded.
Cancellations made less than 60 days prior to the first day of the trip will result in a loss of all monies paid. No refunds will be offered and no credit will be granted for the following season. If North Star Resort is able to re-sell your reserved spaces, a credit minus all deposits, and a $1,500 per person service fee will be granted for the following season.
North Star Resort will not be held responsible for any trip cancellations for any reason including but not limited to cancellations due to weather, sickness, acts of war or flight cancellations by any airlines.
North Star Resort is located in the remote Canadian wilderness. No refunds or credits will be offered for any delays or cancellations of the charter flight from Winnipeg to the resort.
We strongly recommend that our guests purchase trip insurance.
Last Minute Bookings
Full payments must accompany any reservation that is made less
than two weeks prior to trip. No final payments will be accepted at the
resort.
On-Site Purchases
All resort purchases are in US dollars. We prefer purchases to be
made by credit card and gratuities cash. We accept MC, Visa, Discover or Amex.
